Hey guys. How's everyone? Everyone seems to be busy with their own stuffs. Everyone seems off contact. Which reminds me. When will be our next Skype conference? I'll start with myself. I'm now working offshore in Miri. I've recently went to kk. Me, Jon, Katrina and her bf, Joelle, Jasmine and her bf. Great time catching up. Short update, Sze just finished her loooong holiday. its been a LONG LONG time since i last touch nor step into this place. Sorry for being busy and seldom update myself here. Things had been rapid and fast-paced lately. Final exam after Final exams drooling upon me; patient's case study and reports came unlimitedly... Anyways, not gonna use here as a whining place after all, just wanna share something i experienced thus far with my precious friends here..

Few weeks ago i had my gynecology cycle in one far-away hospital. For those of u who doesn't understand what is Gynecology, its 妇产科. i learnt alot and also experienced alot of stuffs, which i hope i get to encounter more in future. Praise God for everything.

I got the opportunity to incise(cut open) a fresh uterus and examine what pathology/problem with the uterus that they had to cut it out. I dont think i m going to elaborate what pathology the uterus i cut had, jsut that it had some little polyps and black spots on it which may be very dangerous for the patient herself. i also had the opportunity to cut the ovary open and observe the pathology it had inside, which we can see alot of bleeding and cyst inside the ovary. One important lesson i learnt in the operation threate is that professor corrected my way of holding a scarpel and correct way to incise/cut. Although at the moment it's very embarassing but i thank God i had the chance to learn it the right way.

During the week everyone of us had a patient to take care of and examine her throughout the week and present our patient's case history/report on the end of the cycle/week. My patient was a young fair lady who is one year younger than i m. After simple questioning session(my Russian still sucks, seriously) i found out that she is 20 weeks pregnant already. 3 years ago she had one abortion before, which makes her 2nd pregnancy this time. She was diagnosed of threathening abortion due to suspected of having candidiosis, one of the commonest STD we have in this world. When i ask the cause of STD(which is necessary for my case history) she became emotional and roughly asnwered me saying its because of her husband who had many sexual partners and transmitted this disease to her. Sudden compassion felt onto me for her, yet i didnt do anything for her, except to smile to her everytime i see her and said some nice words(partly because of my poor Russians') ...

Long weekend

This had been a quite a fruitful long weekend. :) Labour day + Weekend? Sweet. On labour day, I went to the zoo with Kweehui and a friend named Sinlu who was my ex classmate in IS and surprisingly who happens to be kweehui's ex primary classmate. The whole plan was totally random. It all started with a conversation between me and Kweehui about penguins. Totally random thoughts. Out of the blue. Kweehui said he wanted to see penguins and wondered whether there's penguins in Malaysia. I said "Yes". I remembered couple of years back I went to the zoo with Laichee, Titanic Soh who is now known as Priscillia Soh and her church friends. There, I saw living penguins for the first time.

Overall, the zoo was a bit of a disappointment. First, the penguins were not there. :( So, we had to pretend to be penguins.

Second, it looked run down. Probably associated with poor maintenance and poor financial support. The camel looked old. Wrinkled.

Anyhow, has anyone seen blue balls before? Sze? Lawrence? Sandra? Here I present to you. Mr Monkey with blue balls. Med students? A quick wikipedia query returns:

Blue balls is the slang term for a congested prostate or vasocongestion, the condition of temporary fluid congestion in the testicles and prostate region caused by prolonged sexual arousal in the human male.

Blue ball ought to attract some females. Maybe I should get a pair of them. Lol. Continuing on, we saw a turtle trying to climb up the rock. It was trying so hard to get up there. It was shaking and losing balance. It then drop backwards back to water. We were laughing so hard because we saw the whole process. That poor turtle. Here's how it looked like in the water.

And then the heroic Kweehui came to the rescue by flipping it back using his bare hands ignoring his usual hygienic practice. Going forward, as we're leaving the zoo. I found out I lost my new 2 weeks old lomo camera. :( I thought I left it in the car but I couldn't find it. We headed back to the petrol station where had our lunch to look for it. Couldn't find it there either. Where did I lost it? It remains a shrouded mystery. Tired and hot. We headed to Old Town Kopitiam for some bread and drinks. Replenished. We hopped on to our next destination. Metropolitan park. :D This is where we flew our kite. Hohoho. The most anticipated activity of the day. There were so many kites flying in the sky, I was getting even more excited as we were approaching the park. Many kites= Many visitors as well. I had to park at the road side and walk into the park. We bought a rainbow striped with black background triangular shaped kite. Here's how it looked like.

We had trouble trying to fly the first kite. Upon investigation, there's a hole somewhere on the left wing. Then we exchanged the defective kite with a new one. :D Well, the second kite wasn't flying quite as stable as it should be in the sky. So, I decided to tie Domo to it to give it some weight in the middle. Here's Domo taking off.

We had hell lots of laughs. Great sun, clear blue sky and most of all, windy. What great day out. I'm sure I didn't regret making this random decision to go zoo and all. Haha. Except for losing my precious lomo cam. Sad. Lesson to be learned. Always keep on eye on your belongings.

On Saturday, I went out with my brother, his wife and son for much needed outing. I hadn't look for them since they moved to KL. Gosh, Gerrard has grown up so fast. He's now able to crawl! like worm wriggling. Lol. But his spine still isn't strong enough for him to be able to sit by his own. Incidentally, today is his 6th months into this world. :D Happy 0.5 year old Gerrard.

I bought a new book yesterday and read it today. Dan Brown's Angels and Demon who wrote the highly controversial The Da Vincci Code. I hope Lawrence wouldn't mind me reading this book. Haha. 1/5 through this book, I'm loving this book. Content filled with fast cars, fast planes, cutting edge technologies, physics, nano particles, architectures, religions, secret society and many of my favorite topics. I do hope I can finish this book before the movie releases very soon.

This month is busy month of work. On Friday night, boss look at me with blinking watery eyes, ask me to complete the job before Monday and Monday was Deepavali. I had plan on Sunday lagik. Therefore if I am to follow the plan, I will have to finish my job on Saturday. However I found it was quite a motivation when I think of my wonderful plan on Sunday. The red arrows denote the problematic area. The chiropractor said the cartilages pointed by the red arrows should be as thick cartilage pointed by the blue arrow. He said from L1 until my coccyx is giving me problem. L1 until L5 gives me a sharp pain when try to bend. The coccyx gives me a pain in the ass, literally. Well, to be specific, the pain is mostly concentrate on my upper left buttock.

Hey everybody, I am Koh Weng Cheon or 高永畅 here. Hope you still remember who I am. Even if you really don't, that's okay, as long as you are from our batch in Kiankok, enrolling in 1998 and have been in class A.

I am actually planning for an annual reunion for we all. It has been too long that many of us haven't seen each other. Many things have happened, we all may have changed, and things around have also changed. Maybe this reunion comes at quite a long time after our graduation, but late is always better than none. It is time for you to bring your boyfriend, girlfriend, or even spouse and show off how good your life is! Well, if you are not getting well, no worry, because I am always there to prove that somebody is worse that you. Haha...

Well, I know it's hard for us to set a date and gather together. However, I hope that once we set the date, we always know that no matter if we are going to the gathering or not, there will always be a gathering for us every year. Hence even if some of you cannot go at a particular year, you can always go at the next year. And you know that on this day, many of your friends are going to gather, and they will surely miss you and talk a lot about you.

Tentatively this reunion may be just a dinner. We can book some tables in a restaurant, then just have a fine dinner and chit-chat. Or if you guys think prefer a more youthful and refreshing reunion, we can set it at resorts like Karambunai?

Now the problem is, where and when should it be? Most probably this will be held in KK I guess, since if you go back KK then you can reunite with your family at the same time. It is also where we come from, and we can always invite our Kiankok teachers to join. However, if anybody has any better suggestion, please let me know. Besides, I totally have no idea which month it should be located. Most of you are working, I wonder applying leave is easy for you or not. For those studying, you have to suite your holiday also. Therefore for those who really love this idea, please give me some suggestions, or at least tell me when is the convenient time for you.

Lastly, I need the help of you all to plan this. I don't know if this email is being sent to everyone, as I don't have the class roster anymore. Maybe anybody who still have the 毕业刊 can help me check? You can also help me check if your friends are in this mailing list. Just tell me if whoever is missing. Also, if you want me to send this to any other preferred email, reply me. Most importantly, I need some volunteers at Sabah to help me, because I have no idea on which restaurant is good and I cannot make reservation also.

I really hope that this annual reunion will works. This depends on all the feedback and support of you all, so let's make it happen! Also hope that we all are having good and happy life~

Today is tung wei's birthday so I am going to call her to wish her happy birthday soon, but i must explain why i didnt call her immediately bcuz the current phone that i usually use in KK doesnt have her number loh... so i have to find out from laichee and sim, hope she's not angry at me lah ok..

but today i also very sad, because its my last day in kk and i am flying back to Perth loh, 6 weeks of uni left, and if i pass my exam, my grad ceremony is on 17th February 2009, Im really happy that ttw has booked ticket and will be flying to perth to attend the ceremony, if any of you guys are interested, pls feel free to come visit me during this time ok~ hehhee can stay at my place mah, try to get cheap tickets okkkkkkk!!!! pls consider~ i really hope u guys can be with me during my happy moments, oklah i better call ttw now, or else she will be angry at me de loh~

Hi everyone, This might be stupid. But this is in fact stupid because it is created on our beloved friend's tung wei's birthday~ hehehe just kidding..

anyway, I have always been hoping to have a place where we can keep in touch with each other, a place where we can share our happiness and sadness, any pains or worries that you would like your friends to hear, like what we used to do when we were still in kiankok.. heheeh

Also a good place to seek for advices/assistances when you are feeling lost at any point in your life when friends are no longer easy to be approached, when true friendships are hard to be found after we left kiankok~ I hope our friendship will last forever and the memories that we all shared will be carried with us until the very end of our lives.
